"CHARIS?"
Pronounced "khä'-rēs." It is the Greek word that is translated "GRACE" throughout the New Testament scriptures. It is God's loving-kindness, goodwill, and favor toward mankind regardless of whether or not mankind deserves it. It was demonstrated through the Person and finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross as God was in Jesus Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. It is our desire that every child, every parent, every staff member, every person that encounters Charis Christian Academy will "grow in the grace (charis) and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 3:18 NASB)
